ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE
The Kabalikat Civic Communicators Association, Inc. or simply known as KABALIKAT CIVICOM, is the Philippine's largest and most active communications group today. It has more than 600 chartered chapter’s nationwide strecthing its base from as far as Aparri in northernmost Luzon to Davao Oriental, Saranggani Province and the Zamboanga Peninsula in the open south of Mindanao.
Kabalikat is a non-stock, non-profit civic organization whose noblest motive is the public welfare. It was conceived and organized by Gil dela Torre in December 1990 to primarily raise the status of communicators to a position of high responsibility and importance and to enable radio enthusiasts to actively participate in public assistance particularly during calamities and emergencies or whenever there is a need to ensure public comfort and convenience.
Members of Kabalikat strive to live by the following Code of Discipline:
1) commitment to the public,
2) faith, love and belief in God,
3) love of country,
4) respect for the authorities and the government,
5) commitment to democracy, and
6) responsiveness to the public.
The organization has also the following objectives of its existence which is:
a) to foster stronger and more cohesive fellowship and cooperation among those involve in community radio comunication,
b) to develop dedication, discipline and professionalism in community services,
c) to promote the bayanihan spirit, mutual help and cooperation among various government agencies and civic-minded organizations by bringing its services closer to every sector of the community, and
d) to assist in everyway possible in the developmental radio communication in the national endeavor of achieving reforms.
It is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on January 1994 under Registration Number ANO-94-339 and is also registered with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) under License Number 58489, Station Call Sign 4DW-656, Class FB-0366-95.

Kabalikat Civicom is a truly universal organization whose officers and members are God-fearing and responsive to the public welfare with a mission to care and serve humanity, committed to democracy, respect for the authorities and the government.
Mission
As a civic organization, the Kabalikat Civicom should promote bayanihan spirit, foster stronger and more cohesive fellowship among those involved in community radio communication; to develop dedication, discipline and professionalism in community radio services; mutual help and cooperation among various government agencies and civic-minded organizations by bringing its services closer to every sector of the community and to assist in every way possible in the developmental radio communication in the national endeavor of achieving reform.
